That's great, the last release of KDE2-cygwin (the Windows port of KDE) uses
230MB just to reach the desktop... I believe Ralf has managed to get this
down to a more palatable 130MB recently, but that's still an awful lot of
RAM. I checked this against Linux, and indeed it seems KDE is taking up
around the 110MB figure, just sitting there with the desktop so your numbers
sound about right.
