You could port the DCOP library to STL string/char *,
remove the DCOP/Qt bridge, and that's about it. In theory there's nothing
that depends on Qt except the DCOP/Qt bridge and the Qt marshalling
for parameters.
Hmm, ok, it's about the same as rewriting the whole library ;)
