If you have GNOME installed, try this:

kdeglobals
----------
[General]
honorGnome=true

kickerrc
--------
[menus]
MergeKDEDirs=true

And restart kicker.  Cute, huh?

It seems that GNOME has only large icons and just resizes them..
something that we don't do, though...
