Hi!
Does KSpell in KDE HEAD work for somebody. I wanted finally get spellchecking
working now in KWord, but I have a problem with kspell. I get this debug output
partsui (corba): Calling method extraSpelling
partsui (corba): Call done
kspell (kdelibs): KPIO: recv'd [@(#) International Ispell Version 3.1.20 10/10/95
]
kspell (kdelibs): KPIO::readln
kspell (kdelibs): KPIO::write [@kde],[@kde
]
kspell (kdelibs): really writing
kspell (kdelibs): KPIO::write [@linux],[@linux
]
kspell (kdelibs): NOT really writing
check: This is a spelcecking test <-------------- this is from kword
kspell (kdelibs): KPIO::write [!],[!
]
kspell (kdelibs): NOT really writing
kspell (kdelibs): KPIO::write [],[]
kspell (kdelibs): NOT really writing
kspell (kdelibs): KP::sent [@kde
]
kspell (kdelibs): Sending [@linux
]
kspell (kdelibs): KP::sent [@linux
]
kspell (kdelibs): Sending [!
]
kspell (kdelibs): KP::sent [!
]
kspell (kdelibs): Sending []
kspell (kdelibs): KP::sent []
kspell (kdelibs): Empty
kspell (kdelibs): Empty
You see the sentence "This is a spelcecking test" should be checked using
KSpell:check(). The only thing I get is the kspell dialog, but without any
misspelled word and suggestions, and all buttons excpet cancel and stop are
disabled.
Now I donŽt know if I do something wrong or if it is KSpell. So, does kspell in
HEAD work for somebody. If yes, I know that it is me and IŽll play with it a
bit more to get it working, else I hope somebody will fix kspell :-)
