Yes. You'll very very probably get animated icons on mouseover for KDE 3.0.

That's exactly the problem I have with the Mac OS X icons. 
They look too much like photographs. I don't consider them to be "good" icons.
Sure, they look nice but it's hard to recognize them as "icons" (i.e. symbols) 
in some places. 

Future versions of KDE-icons  should have a very nice look while also offering 
good recognizability.

Also keep in mind that the icons should always be _easy_ to be recognized in 
16x16 without alphablending enabled.
