I agree, Mark.  Not necessarily that KDE should supply them with the
dist, but their utililty. I was fortunate(?) in that before I trashed my
NT system for Linux I saved the wav files, so I had something to use.  I
keep my virtual screen larger than the real screen and I like the audio
feedback when a window opens/closes in the hidden portion.  My
contribution to a wishlist would ask for more events that I can tie
sound to: keystrokes, mouseclicks, etc.
