Concerning themes the next kde-release will contain:

- a small set of different decent themes for the Theme-manager.
  Because of Copyright-reasons noone of these themes will immitate any 
  existing GUI. 
- one or two sound-themes will be included,too. System-Sounds will very
  probably disabled by default. The default-sound-theme will only play 
  sounds for the most important events.

Windows doesnīt do so by default either. If you activate soundthemes
which play sounds on every event then itīs your fault.
... just wanted to put that right.
