The other day I saw a post from an all-knowing wize man here, that said
jdk 1.1.3-V2 would work with KDE and the windows wouldn't just pop up
and dissappear, I didn't believe but I did try it tonight...

IT WORKS!  if you want ICQ/JAVA use jdk 1.1.3-V2 !!!!

I am running RH 5.1 with 2.0.35 kernel, and KDE 1.0!

I thought I had tried everything but this works, no joke!

I had previously tried everything from 1.1.4-v1 up, what a lot of DL'in
all before I get EQL to work. owell..

And to think the minimum req for ICQ says 1.1.4! HAHA!

The sounds still cut out though, if anyone knows a fix for that, it
would be excellent to know of it.
