Summary: Copy to Collection: Sansa Clip hangs at 100%
Product: amarok
Version: 2.3.1
Platform: Debian testing
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Media Devices
AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist@kde.org
ReportedBy: eljefedelito@gmail.com
CC: aumuell@reserv.at
Version: 2.3.1
OS: Linux
We have a Sansa Clip 2GB (firmware v02.01.35a) which works with Amarok in MTP
mode but when I want to copy tracks to it, the "Transferring Tracks to Device"
progress bar sits at 100% for a very long time. When I do a collection scan,
the progress bar disappears when the copy is done; transferring tracks to my
iPod also has the progress bar disappear when done. So I feel like this file
transfer isn't really done yet even with 100% shown.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
Get a SanDisk Sansa Clip, put into MTP mode, copy tracks to it.
Actual Results:
Tracks copy but the progress bar hangs at 100%.
Expected Results:
If the copy is done, the 100% bar would disappear.
I ejected the device last night after not waiting for the 100% to disappear,
and all of the id3 tags on my device were wrong. I checked them on the local
system and they're accurate, so somehow Amarok put the wrong tag info on the
device. I would bet this is due to the 100% not really being 100% done. Or,
maybe that's a different bug report?
