Bob,

As Eric said, this hasn't really happened in Quanta lately.  I wonder if you 
are using an older version of Quanta that still has these issues?  If you are 
using an older version, perhaps you might try upgrading KDE and KDEWEBDEV via 
apt, after enabling the multiverse repo.
