You may want to have a look at this 'Dynamic Text Replacement' technique.
It involves storing the font on the server, and using a script (PHP w/ 
GD) to generate the images. This would work for headings and such, but 
might be much for ALL text.

there's an example here. The HTML is nice and clean, and you don't have 
to manually create, and code, the images.
