After using licq 0.80 for a while, I am noticing that I get 
disconnected from the server far more often than I do with the Windows 
version of ICQ which I run at work.  I have much more difficulty 
trying to reconnect too.  I actually think I'm offline more than I am 
online with licq.

Is this a bug in licq 0.80?  I remember that others were having 
similar connection problems, but I can't refer to that list of 
messages right now because I don't have them.  Is it because this 
program was developed without the knowledge of how ICQ really works 
(as is every other ICQ clone) and so it has more trouble getting a 
reliable connection with the server?  Probably this is going out on a 
limb, but perhaps the ICQ servers are being programmed to reject ICQ 
clones in order to discourage their development?

Anyway, I really am not familiar enough with how it all works, but 
these are just some ideas.  I'm probably completely wrong. x^)
