There is really nothing major that could go in 3.5.x. That's just how the 
development model works: once a release is done, only bug fixes (or very 
minor, no-string-changes no-docs-change features). There is just so much 
that can be done, and implementing new things for an old version is time 
consuming. So bear this in mind, and keep in mind that new features, well, 
will be implemented in new versions of the software.
