I like the way the "fewer/more option"s debate turned into "make options
an option."
But seriously, I was one of the earlier proponents of
Novice/Intermediate/Expert
oriented KDE, so I second that.
I too like the .part thing because mp3z are downloaded with GNaptser and it
doesn't do that.
