Honestly I don't like 'em either, I was just trying to make a suggestion since 
I'm pretty much out of any more ideas...

Yup, I think everyone would get the idea of what's going on having only a 
brief look - would someone more skilled than me spend some time on drawing 
some nice arrows?
Would anyone from the usability team give us some advice? I'm not really a 
usability expert, I pretty much get used to everything :)
Should the arrow change its color depending on the color theme? should it be 
animated? Should the whole window visualize the overwrite process (/me 
thinking of the copying dialog in Windows(tm) with its flying documents) 
using an animation?

yippe, someone who shares my opinion, I think it looks more modern. Even 
though stacked layouts are easier to understand (I liked that gravity 
explanation) :)
