Dirk, how do you suggest democracy should work in a project like KDE? Just
think about the voting base, who should be allowed to vote? All subscribers to
kde-devel? Everybody can subscribe there. All subscribers to kde-core-devel?
It's not that easy. It was planned to name the release 1.2 following the
recommendations of the pr team and lots of other people but the fact that
KDevelop is not going to be part of the release has changed the situation. What
do you suggest? Delaying the relase to start a new "1.2 - 1.1.2" discussion on
kde-devel? Thanks for respecting the decision of the release dude.
