OS/Compiler notes: 

If you click on a link on http://www.linuxtoday.com
while it is sill loading, it crashes. (Sometimesyou need more than one try.)

This seems to be related to a lot of other
crashes I am seeing. The same problem exists
on cnnfn.com and lots of other pages.
