This is not about KDE, but I'm hoping the one of you can help me.
My sound card is a sound blaster pro compatible, its settings are 220, =
5, 1, 4
My distribution is RedHat 5.1
I type sndconfig, and put in my settings. Then it tells me that it's =
going to play a sound to verify my settings, I press OK. Then it tells =
me that "an error was encountered running the modprobe program," then =
the program quits, and I still can't play sound under Linux. What does =
this mean, and what can I do to fix it?
