<td> format instead of using <col> doesn't work either, but it also doesn't work in \
Firefox, though setting it with <col> works in Firefox.  Are proportional widths only \
allowed by the HTML spec with <col> and not <td>?  I haven't played with this much.  \
But I know that proportional widths with <col> work in Firefox and not Konqueror. \
