I'm using SuSE 10 with Kde 3.5 as well, but for me it still doesn't work out of the \
box.

Mails with embedded images (contrary to mails containing links to external images on \
the web somewhere), don't display the images inline. I only see a placeholder, and \
image icons at the end of the mail.

So I'm not sure SuSE 10's Kde 3.5 does contain the patch.
