Two Polish characters (c acute and l with a bar) are not displayed by KDE \
(Konqueror, KWrite, etc). They just disappear (they are not replaced by a \
question mark or any other character). Keyboard shortcuts for these \
characters (alt+c alt+l) do not work either.  Some time ago this problem \
was reported at pl.comp.os.linux, it was assosiated with anti-aliased \
fonts. My findings a different: I added a new user account, the two \
characters were present until I changed keyboard setting from us to pl. \
After that, setting the keyboard back from pl to us did not help (did not \
bring c' and l/ back). I allow a remote access to my box if this can be of \
any help.
