kdebase (KDE-2.2 release from CVS) configure
fails on Slackware Linux as DEF_PAM_SERVICE
was not defined and as result it is not substituted by autoconf (the result was
syntax error in configure)

Commenting out related lines in 
configure.in.in seems to help (build is not yet finished)
