Subject: Bug#24978: split transaction register crash
From: ben.kelly () ieee ! org
Date: 2001-04-30 3:40:11
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: kapital
Version: 1.0Beta2 (using KDE 2.1.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Debian Package 4:2.1.1-7 (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (Debian release)
OS: Linux 2.4.3 i686
OS/Compiler notes:
Attempting to create a new split for a transaction in Kapital causes the program to crash.
To reproduce this bug do the following.
1) Create a new account.
2) Select the new account's tab so that its register is displayed
3) Select the initial transaction (or create a new one and select it)
4) Press the split button to bring up the split pane below the register.
5) Push the "new" button in the split pane.
I did not include the stack trace because there were not any debugging symbols.
