I had thought that this may have been because i have been running XFree86 3.3.6 as \
per supplied with Suse 6.4 but having bit the bullet and installed XFree86 4.0.1  am \
still getting exactly the same problems with several programs  kmix , xmms, \
xsetisthome, krabber, and many more as well .
