XMame.x11 (v0.37b4.1) doesn't work with this new KDE. It works just fine
with v1.1.1. At first I though it was
because aRts, so I disabled it but it didn't help.
Xmame got stuck after displaying ' Using a Visual with a depth of
16bpp.'
(it should then display 'MIT-SHM Extension Available. trying to use...
Success.')
It turns out that only after killing Kdesktop, xmame works fine.

I've used KDE Snapshot Binaries of 20000708, using the RPM packages,
installed to /opt/kde2.
Using RH6.0, glibc 2.1. Kernel 2.2.15.
