Severity: normal

I have a document with Greek characters and I try to display them using
a Greek font (I have tried both a TrueType and a Type1 font in ISO8859-7
encoding). I select the ISO8859-7 encoding in the Font dialog but
nothing
happens. This means that even though I change both the font and the
encoding, the text is displayed with the previous font.

I also have some fonts that have Greek characters but they are
declared as ISO8859-1 fonts although they are actually ISO8859-7
fonts. Selecting these fonts and the ISO8859-1 encoding in the Font
dialog the Greek text is displayed properly. Nevertheless I consider
this
to be an ugly hack and not a long term solution.
