Subject: kscd cddb not working (with proxy)

Package: kscd
Version: 1.2.5
Severity: normal

kscd does not receive cddb information. Sometimes it reports being unable to
connect to the cddb server, sometimes it reports nothing. I am using an http
proxy (Netscape proxy server, unknown version, uses port 8080) which works fine
with kfm and communicator, and I am able to connect to the cddb server from kfm
(http://www.cddb.org:8880). I'm sorry I'm not able to tell you for sure, but I
am suspecting the proxy code because many other people appear to be accessing
cddb using kscd with no problem.

I am running "stock" redhat 5.2 linux with KDE 1.1-2. The problem happens on
both of my 2 machines running KDE.

thanks
