Package: kpackage
Version: 1.1.2-? (fully patched Red Hat Linux 6.1)

I'm running RH Linux 6.1 and am trying to define a directory in
kpackage as "ftp://updates.redhat.com/6.1/i386/" from the Options
drop down menu, Location of Uninstalled Packages..., then Location
RPMS.... When I start kpackage (from the command line so that I
can see what is happening), kpackage hangs and displays

	No such file or directory
	ERROR: KFM crashed

However, if I go into kfm, I can "browse" to the URL specified
above (if I'm patient - sometimes I get a "password incorrect"
or it just times out - nothing like a slow FTP server).

Any suggestions on what I should do to make this work better?

Thanks, in advance.

Bruce
