Subject: Bug#2363: Window postions change in a session when hostname changes!

Package: kwm
Version: KDE since 1.0, now 1.2, from SuSE 6.2

The window positions etc of the open windows in general are stored
for a session (when you logout and login again, windows appear at the
same position).

This does not work when the hostname changes in the meantime.
This happens when you get a different name from DHCP for
example, or simply rename the host with "hostname <newname>".
To test it, change the hostname, and restart KDM.

After the login the windows pop up, but their positions are completely
messed up :-(

This bug really annoys when you are on a laptop and have different
ways of connecting to the internet.
