When the automatic check for new mail is enabled, a window momentarily 
pops up whenever the check is made (kmail configured to act as POP client).
This is very annoying, and should be suppressed, unless an error condition
is being reported.

On the other hand, there is on way to know that new mail has arrived, when
running kmail as an icon, and using the automatic mail check.  Since the
mail is pulled in, xbiff is of no use.  I would like to see the icon the
window tool bar change when there is new mail.  Putting up a window for 
new mail notification would be annoying, but some indication on the desktop
would be helpful.
