Package: konsole
Version: 0.9.10

Konsole doesn't seem to set the geometry of the window (and as a result,
the LINES and COLUMNS environment variables) properly. After scanning
through the code, it seems to be due to the fact that
TEWidget::calcSize() doesn't take the presence or absence of the menubar
(and it's size) into consideration.

For example, if you start konsole with "konsole -vt_sz 80x24" a window
will pop up that is 80x24 ONLY IF THE MENUBAR IS UNMAPPED! I have the
menubar enabled on my system at konsole startup so the resulting window is
really 80x21 columns (and the COLUMNS and LINES environment variables
report this!).

If I disable the menubar and run the above command again, I get a proper
80x24 column display.

Additionally, if I log into a SCO box and select 'xterm' as my terminal
type, the SCO box sends some escape signals that cause Konsole to do a
resize...which again forces it back into a 80x21 mode (even though I'm
supposedly running in 80x24).
