Bug ID: 345734
Summary: connection fails due to dh1024 option
Product: kvpnc
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: crissi99@gmx.de
Reporter: illumilore@gmail.com
when launching openvpn from the terminal it seems to connect without issue,
then I imported the client.conf into kvpnc. It seems to fail because it is
trying to use a dh1024 option (Options error: --dh fails with 'dh1024.pem') but
in the preferences I see no option relating to this. The keys that I generated
are 4096 length. The client.conf doesn't even mention the dh.pem file, so I
don't think that option is even needed?
Reproducible: Always
debug: Setting DNS_UPDATE "NO".
debug: Starting Openvpn management handler...
error: OpenvpnManagementHandler: Connection refused
debug: [openvpn] Options error: --dh fails with 'dh1024.pem': No such file or
directory
debug: [openvpn]
debug: [openvpn] Options error: Please correct these errors.
debug: [openvpn] Use --help for more information.
debug: [openvpn]
error: OpenvpnManagementHandler: Got no greeting within 3 seconds from
management interface, retrying.
error: OpenvpnManagementHandler: Connection refused
