            Bug ID: 345731
Summary: Input method should be able to commit multi line to
                    application
           Product: kate
           Version: 5.0.0
          Platform: Chakra
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: part
          Assignee: kwrite-bugs-null@kde.org
          Reporter: wengxt@gmail.com

When commitString() from QInputMethodEvent contains "\n", katepart doesn't
accept it as multiple line input but as a single line. While it's fine in
QPlainTextEdit as it accept multiple line from input method.

Some change might be needed in kateviewinternal.cpp

It's a minor issue since at least KDE4 times, because not much input method
would try to type multiple line at once, but it would be nice to make the
behavior same as Qt's built-in multiline text widget.

Reproducible: Always
