I am also thankful that his bug is now hopefully fixed, even though I had found
a workaround for myself as posted earlier. 

I really tried to help as much as I could to fix this bug, providing all
requested information. Apparently this was not enough, which is sad, but I have
no idea about the inner workings of KDE nor C and I am quite confused which
config file is which. If I search through all the changes in ~/.kde4 within the
last hour when a bug shows up, it is hard to identify the relevant files,
because a lot of KDE config files change without any good reason (e.g. just
reordering their content).
