can you click in that area? e.g. if you put a window in this area, does it
receive clicks? can you attach a screenshot? thanks :)

that looks like a graphics driver and/or a kwin compositing (if it happens when
desktop effects are on) bug, but it might not be. can you answer the same
questions i asked Anselmo above? thanks ...
