I don't think my bug 135235 is a duplicate of this bug, though they are related, and \
overlap somewhat.

A key distinction is that in my case, I *do* have two separate file trees on my disk \
for different formats.  I also have only complete albums, excepting some legacy \
mp3's.

/common/music/flac/Van Halen/
/common/music/ogg/Van Halen/
/common/music/mp3/Van Halen/  *legacy use only

Changes made to lyrics, ratings, comments, or id3 tags in one format should propagate \
to all other formats of the same recording.

In my collection, I put in only one format for each song.  Which format I choose \
depends on the power of the box and the network.  For example, some of my machines \
don't handle flac over nfs well as they are quite old, so they use the ogg version.

My ipod mini uses the ogg version as well, for obvious reasons.
