Summary: KDevelop should warn if an external tool isn't present
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: jens.dagerbo swipnet se

Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

KDevelop currently assumes that the users or the distribution makes sure that any \
external tools like gcc, gdb, ctags, doxygen, etc are installed and works.

It would however be nice if KDevelop could display a userfriendly warning if this \
isn't the case.
