------- Additional Comments From fietze s netic de 2005-06-30 22:28 \
------- I have a SUSE 9.3 with the KDE 3.4.1 update RPM's from SUSE.

I have similar problem synchronizing my Palm Tungsten E. Sometimes it \
works, sometimes it hangs. The kernel logs or the HAL device manager \
properly show the driver coming up with ttyUSB0 and ttyUSB1. I always use \
ttyUSB1, the other one doesn't seem to work. Tried speeds from 19200 up to \
115200 with identical results, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Everything worked fine on my SUSE 9.0 using KDE updates to 3.4.0. Most \
often I can force the whole thing to work by quitting the pilot daemon and \
restarting from the beginning.

All other USB devives I tested up to now worked just fine (USB 1.1 on an \
old ASUS P2B-DS), which include BlueTooth dongles and two different \
MP3-players.
