------- Additional Comments From jens-bugs.kde.org spamfreemail de 2005-02-11 10:01 \
------- Hi everybody,

using KDE 3.3.2, with FAM, I have a couple SMB shares mounted under /home (group \
directories etc from a Samba server). Even without any Konq instances running, I \
cannot umount them, because fam processes are "watching" all these directories and \
there is no (obvious) way to end these famd processes (other than 'kill <PID>').

Other than that, I use Konq preloading under SuSE 9.1 (with submount/subfs) and I \
haven't had the problem of not being able to eject a CD (which happens with subfs \
when a process still has files open underneath the mount point) for ages.

Thanks,

Jens
