Well, you know, the reorganization comes from KMDI, which is very bad in 
mode switching, the KDevelop guys even disabled on-the-fly mode 
switching... So the bug surely belongs to KMDI (and maybe 
kdelibs/KDockWidget), because as simple switch is usually not enough, 
and in Quanta we have some kind of workaround.
 We hope to have a cleaned up, more stable KMDI for KDE4.

I don't get, do you see a bug somewhere?
