Summary: Kate hangs up when pressing Ctrl+D in embedded Konsole
           Product: kate
           Version: 2.2
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: ivansanchez@wanadoo.es

Version:           2.2 (using KDE 3.1.92 (CVS >= 20031019),  (testing/unstable))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-xfs

I'm used to close xterms and remote ssh sessions with Ctrl+D. That's why I tend to \
press Ctrl+D in any terminal I view.

In Kate, I made the embedded Konsole show up (menu preferences -> tool views -> \
terminal), executed a couple of commands, then pressed Ctrl+D to close it. But it \
didn't close; instead of that, Kate hanged up, sucking 100% of the CPU.

This is using KDE-CVS 20031020. Perhaps now this is not reproduceable.

IMHO, pressing Ctrl+D should close/hide the terminal instead of hanging up Kate.
