Summary: Open documents should be re-opened automatically next
                    time Kile is launched
           Product: kile
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: Jeroen.Wijnhout@kdemail.net
        ReportedBy: peter.bittner@gmx.net

Version: 1.4 (using KDE KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

It would be nice to have (at option) that Kile "remembers" what files are \
opened/edited when it is shut down. So when you start Kile next time all the \
documents you had opened last time you used Kile are re-opened and you can start \
typing right away. (This would also apply to some settings such as "main document" \
vs. "normal mode", etc.)

I say this, because I am experiencing every day how annoying it is to think about \
"where did I stop yesterday?" and look for the appropriate document, especially when \
you write, say, a thesis which consists of several documents (one main document which \
"\include"s a lot of chapters that reside in separate files).

BTW, Kate (the text editor) has such an option ("Re-open files on startup" (or so) \
which is enabled by default), JFYI.
