Summary: Icon sizes in the kicker, larger than 48x48
           Product: kicker
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Mandrake RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: jfirebaugh@kde.org
        ReportedBy: webmaster@sr-71.org

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.99)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.2
OS: Linux

I would like the kicker to support icons larger than 48x48 and to automatically \
rescale (like it does now up to 48x48, depending on the size you choose). The Gnome \
panel automatically rescales icons, regardless of whether they have high-resolution \
versions, which leads to a blurry interface (this isn't a good thing). Since most \
icon themes support 64x64 and even some 128x128, the kicker should support these. \
Also, these larger icons may be used in KDE elsewhere, so it seems like a standards \
violation to disallow larger icon sizes in the kicker if the overall kicker size is \
enlarged.
