           Summary: first message is invisible
           Product: kopete
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kopete-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: redneck@pandora.be

Version: 5.0 (using KDE KDE 3.0.4)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.2
OS: LinuxLinux

This may look a bit like bug #48491, but in there it was mentioned that the fix would \
be there in 0.5.

(this being my first bugreport i'll try to give as much info as possible :))

i have the icq and msn plugin loaded, i gave most of my msn contacts other aliases \
instead of their silly nicks

i configured kopete to flash on new messages, to not raise any windows on new \
messages (don't like being disturbed), i use single line mode, and irc style (much \
like trillian default)

now, sometimes i suddenly get an empty popup window from someone (may be noted that \
it only seems to happen in msn), and thereafter if they chat further i recieve that, \
but the first message gets dropped

so my bug adresses 2 problems:
- no window should ever popup out of nowhere according to my current setup (i \
believe)

- if it pops up out of nowhere, the first message is lost, not knowing what the user \
just said to you ;)

(and being my first bugreport, if you need more info, please ask, cos i have no clue \
what to put here anymore :))

Thanks
