OS/Compiler notes: 

When changing between open menus, the snapshot from which the alpha blend is created \
appears to be taken *before* the old menu closes, thus the now closed menu can be \
seen "through" the now open one even though it is no longer there.

Recreation: Ensure transparent menus are enabled. I used software blend, 75%. Open \
konqueror, open the "view" menu, then move from "view" to "go". The view menu \
contents are still visible, faded by 25% under the now open "go" menu.

Noticed particularly in Konqueror and Control Panel, Kate and most others. Does NOT \
seem to affect Konsole or the main "start" menu, possible because of the delay in \
opening new menus in the latter.
