Hi, i have been trying for a couple of days now to implement an new mail notification \
in system tray applet in kicker.

I have come so far as i can get without help I think. I just followed the "Beep on \
new mail feature" and copied and modified it to my needs, and works fine showing the \
kmail icon in the system tray when new mail arrives with KSystemTray(). But unlike \
Beep, the icon has to dissapear again as soon as all unread messages are marked as \
read and appear everytime a mail is marked unread.

I found a signal "numUnreadMsgsChanged(KMFolder*)" but now i need a total unread \
messages, and i couldent figure it out really. As i understand it, UnreadMsg is \
cached in kmailrc, but seperate under each folder entry, but no total.

If someone could help me figure this one out i could take care of it myself and \
submit a patch when i finished that you guys could take a look at, if this feature is \
wanted at all of course.

I my self think it is a good thing. The popup is a to provocative, and the beep is to \
anonymous.

Kall me a windows ripoff but thats one feature i like.

Thanks for youre attention!
