Subject: Alternative hiding

Package: kicker
Version: 0.9 (KDE 1.94 Beta >= 20000918mdk)
Severity: wishlist

How about another way of hiding the panel?
I would like to see the following:
When not used, the panel is visible, but is in the background; i.e. other windows \
overlap it. When windows are put on screen, they ignore the panel, overlapping it if \
necessary. The bottom line of the screen is used to gain focus: when the user clicks \
there, the panel comes to the foreground over any other windows, allowing it to \
always be accessible. After a timeout, it goes back to the background.

That way, you can have the panel but still have the screen real-estate, for us poor \
people with <29" screens :)
