X-KDE-Received: -24.26.146.48

Package: kicker
Version: KDE 2.2.2
Severity: normal
Installed from: Solaris Packages
Compiler: gcc
OS: Solaris
OS/Compiler notes: Solaris v.8 with Sun recommended patch cluster installed

I just installed KDE 2.2.2 from the Solaris packages onto my Sun Ultra 5 (with stock \
PGX frame buffer - the one based off the ATI rage II chipset, 2MB) and installed KDE \
without any hitches. Once I got the desktop environment up, kicker is only half \
functioning. It works to launch applications I have already set there, but upon \
moving, resizing or otherwise "dragging" anything in the kicker panel, the thing \
freezes. It does not exit, or clean itself up, just stays there with all of its \
buttons frozen solid. The logs have nothing about this, there is no Dr. Konqui \
message, and no error (that I can see, anyway) is ever thrown. I adjusted my \
resolution and dropped the bpp on the frame buffer, and tried again, and it's still \
freezing.
