Subject: unable to open html help files
From: venom@darkstar.sns.it

Package: khelpcenter
Version: 2.2 (using KDE 2.2.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Not Specified
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

When i start khelpcenter it is unable to open html help file, sometimes i just get
an adivice like:

Couldn't find filename konsole.html in \
file:/opt/kde/share/doc/HTML/en//konsole/konsole.html

obviously the file is present and readable.

other times i just get two dirty characters like:

 E?

or:

@p

and so on.

when this last case occours it seems it is due to a fail of
khelp:/[PATH]
research metodology.

this is quite noisy bug, and it did not occoured with kde 2.1.1 that i compiled from \
sources like this one. I still should check if this bug occours also with come \
precompiled versions (no time to download and check)

bests
