It is indeed a lot better, and doesn't crash konqueror any more. Some of
the demos even seem to work quite well (eg complexspiral).

However, the rendering definitely isn't bug-free: if you go to the main
page (http://www.meyerweb.com/eric/css/edge/), and move your mouse over
the lefthand boxes, that causes some strange re-positioning the first time
you go to the site (you can see this by doing a "reload" and see how some
things move around as you move your mouse over them).

Also, some of the demos really do not work. See "pure css popups", and
compare how the menu on the left behaves under konqueror and under mozilla
(the latter gets the actions right).

However, it now looks like the basics are working again, and that the
remaining bugs are probably unrelated to the original problem. Thanks.
